Juliana Ochoa, MA, LMHC

I love what I do and that makes it easy and fun for me to work every day with adolescents, adults, and families. In my professional practice, I work with stress, worry, anxiety, depression, anger management, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. I have experience with transitions and other life changes such as relocations and subsequent adjustment issues. I also really enjoy working with athletes and performing artists on performance-related issues such as performance anxiety, confidence, motivation, and overcoming challenges.

I hold a Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a BA in Sociology. I work collaboratively with adolescents, adults, and families, with a special interest in offering equine therapy services to all my clients, when appropriate. In my work, I draw on my training in multiple therapeutic approaches including narrative, solution-focused, emotionally focused individual/couples therapy, and attachment-based therapy. In addition, I am a practitioner of yoga and meditation; these philosophies and values inform the way I think about and work with the problems that arise in my life and in the lives of my clients.
